Outplay Supports Next Generation of Games Entrepreneurs Through SGDA Accelerator

Outplays Head of HR, Emma Turner, recently delivered a workshop on HR, Recruitment and Culture as part of the Scottish Games Developers Association (SGDA) Games Accelerator programme.

The session brought together aspiring studio founders and early-stage games leaders to explore the people side of building a successful games business. Topics included effective recruitment practices, creating positive candidate experiences, employment fundamentals, and the role culture plays in shaping company success.

The workshop also encouraged discussion around leadership, wellbeing, and building healthy, sustainable workplaces from the very start of a studio's journey.

Emma commented: "It was fantastic to meet such a passionate and ambitious group of developers. Scotland's games sector continues to be full of talented people with exciting ideas, and it was a privilege to contribute to their journey."
