Junior UA Manager
At Outplay, we have a fantastic opportunity within our growing marketing department for a junior digital marketer interested in mobile user acquisition, data, and creative briefing to join the User Acquisition team.
The User Acquisition (UA) team is in charge of audience growth across our portfolio of mobile games, ensuring strong revenue flow from sources of paid traffic. The team are tasked with driving both a high quality and quantity of players into the games in accordance with agreed KPIs, targets and approved budget.
In this role you will be building your knowledge of mobile user acquisition channels and campaign types with strong mentorship and support from senior UA team members. You will work on live titles and support new game launches through a mix of media channels and campaigns. Campaign optimisation will be a key part of your role, utilising your ability to analyse data to review performance on a regular basis, participation in strategic planning, asset briefing, and A/B testing messaging/creatives/campaign types.

User Acquisition Campaigns: Launch and manage digital campaigns in accordance with monthly plans working closely with senior team members.
Campaign Analysis: Monitor, analyse and improve campaign performance to maximise performance in alignment with agreed targets.
Creative Marketing: Take part in developing new and innovative creative approaches in line with goals to promote audience growth – continually testing and evaluating the impact of these concepts.
Monitoring User Acquisition Trends: Stay informed regarding the latest advertising approaches and tools adopted by external partners.
External Partnership: Take an active role in maintaining strong external relationships with key partners and networks.
A Passion for Mobile Games Marketing: Demonstrate a keen interest in digital marketing, videogames, and the mobile games industry, understanding player experience flows.
Numeracy: UA requires an interest in data. You will be required to check campaign results and performance routinely, having the ability to understand what the numbers and key metrics represent. Interpreting data is essential to optimising for better campaign performance.
Quick Learner: As this is an entry level position, it is open to graduates, those new to the games industry and candidates in the early stages of their marketing career. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and can learn on the job and grow into their role with genuine enthusiasm, adapting to our fast-paced but fun working environment.
